Student Exchange
/ Exchange programme / Michaelhouse LifeMichaelhouse is proud to participate in a Student Exchange Programme with partner schools all over the world
as one of South Africa’s foremost independent boys’ boarding schools,
Objective
The main objective of an exchange programme is for participating students to experience a different culture and educational system. Students coming to Michaelhouse will normally have opportunities to explore nearby parts of the country when school is not in session. Travel is not the primary object of the exchange.
Period of Exchange
Exchange periods are negotiable, but will normally be for the duration of one school term. Shorter exchanges, of not less than one month, may be considered, especially in cases where absence for a whole school term could disadvantage otherwise suitable candidates.
