While we must always eventually bid farewell to our boys and parents, we want to emphasise that, like your sons, your connection to Michaelhouse too, does not have to end! Our commitment to maintaining strong ties with our Old Boys as well as our parents remains unwavering, but we felt we needed to do more to preserve links with our past parents.

The St Michael’s Club has been established to create a formal way for you as a past parents to be, and remain, part of the Michaelhouse community once your son departs and becomes an Old Boy. Eligibility is being a past parent: Once your son (or youngest son) leaves Michaelhouse, you can join as a life member of the St Michael’s Club. As a member, you will continue to receive relevant communication about the school, including the Rector’s eNews, invitations to events, updates and other important information. You’ll be able to attend certain Old Boys’ events; and we fully expect that the SMC will start arranging their own events in due course.

Note that there is a nominal one-off SMC joining fee of R500 per parent to assist with the administration of the club.
