One of the biggest strengths of West is that it is a caring and well balanced House. Boys in West maintain a good balance between academic and sport. Academic results over the years have always been very good and there is an excellent working ethos in the House. On the sporting side, many West seniors represent our 1st Hockey and Rugby teams. All enjoy a game of touch rugby and on the social side, the boys meet with the Housemaster on a regular basis in the dormitories, his office, or at his home to discuss any related issues.
There is a strong Christian ethos in the House and many of boys attend Christian Fellowship meetings on a regular basis.

To establish West House as a House of gentleman, where boys are stimulated and encouraged to develop personal and common responsibility and accountability in order to ensure the spiritual and social well being of the House so that it can be a home from home. |
