Dear Parents

Thank you for showing interest in the trip to Sodwana.

I have contacted Africa Blue ( Beryl ) and she will be putting the dives together for us.

Due to prize giving, we can only leave by 1pm on the Thursday, 19 August, so we need to spend 3 nights in Sodwana and we will thus be able to do 5 dives, i.e. 2 on Friday, 2 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. We should be able to leave by 12 mid-day.

The rate includes the cost of two people getting their shared accommodation, 5 dives (based on a minimum of 8 paying divers).

• 3 nights in the chalets and 5 dives = R2400.00
• 3 nights non-diver = R1000.00

Excluded in the rates are:

• Transport, food and beverages.
• Far reef surcharges - 5 mile R40, 7 mile R50, and 9 mile R60.
• Nitrox fills and night dives.
• Equipment rental - BCD, Reg and Cylinder, wetsuit, mask & snorkel, fins and w/belt hire.
• Parks Board gate entry fee of R20 per person.

Gear Rental per day will be as follows:

• BCD, Reg & Cylinder = R60 per item or R160.00 for the full set. (i.e. 3 days full hard gear hire = R480.00)
• Wetsuit (R60), Mask & Snorkel (R40), weightbelt (R40), fins (R40) or R160.00 for the full set. (i.e. 3 days full soft gear hire = R490.00)

Please note that all the divers will need to have current dive permits - now R85 at the post office.

If you are still interested then please complete page 3 and e-mail it back to me by Wednesday, 5 May 2010. A deposit of R 1000 per person needs to be paid into the school account by this date so that we can start booking for the trip ( ref : Sodwana Scuba Diving ).
