AFRIKAANS TEACHER

We seek an innovative, creative professional to begin teaching on 1 January 2009. Minimum requirements for the position are

• a degree
• a professional teaching qualification
• previous experience, preferably teaching GETC and IEB matric syllabi.
• SACE membership

Duties will include teaching a range of Afrikaans classes, the coaching of boy?s sport, involvement in extra-curricular activities as well as pastoral duties in a boarding house. To facilitate full involvement in the school the successful candidate will be offered accommodation on or near the Michaelhouse Estate.
