Whilst most South Africans are synonymously linking 2010 with World Cup Soccer, young men who are currently in Grade 6, and their parents, should be thinking about where they will be starting high school in that year.

Michaelhouse, who can admit 105 boys to E Block (Grade 8) in 2010, have already received a number of applications for these positions.  Please see below for important dates pertaining to the 2010 admissions process:

01 September 2008 - 31 March 2009  :  2010 pupil interviews conducted at Michaelhouse
13 March 2009  :  Closing date for scholarship applications
25 March 2009  :  Closing date for registrations and financial assistance applications
27 March 2009  :  Sports scholarship assessments and music scholarship auditions at Michaelhouse
28 March 2009  :  Academic scholarships written at Michaelhouse
28 & 29 March 2009  :  Orientation Weekend at Michaelhouse for 2010 E Block registered pupils
01 April 2009  :  Confidential reports to be returned by Prep Heads to Michaelhouse
22 April 2009  :  Offers of place made to parents
19 May  :  Scholarship offers made to School Heads and parents
22 May  :  Offers of place made to parents
29 May  :  Scholarship awards announced
19 June  :  Closing date for acceptance of place and acceptance fee due

The Rector, Mr Guy Pearson, the Deputy Rectors and members of the management team are available to interview registered pupils and it is strongly recommended that people put this process in motion sooner than later.
